SUP'EUR 95, MADRID
LOCATION AND DATE OF MEETING.
The seventh annual meeting of Sup'Eur will be held in Madrid, Spain,
during September 25-27, 1995. The meeting will be organized by the
Computer
Science School, Polytechnic University of Madrid and will take place
at the Computer Science School, Campus de Montegancedo.
THE SUP'EUR ORGANIZATION.
Sup'Eur is the association of European users of High-performance
computing on IBM Platforms. The goal of Sup'Eur is to facilitate
the usage of IBM high-performance computer (SPx machines and RISC
cluster) and software for the academic, research and industrial
environments.
The Group seeks to foster the exchange of ideas and experiences, to
solve problems, to discuss solutions, to submit requirements to IBM
and to keep up to date with the latest in High-Performance Computers
(HPC). Activities includes an annual conference, an electronic discussion
list, workshops, meetings with IBM and call for experiences.
The Sup'Eur 95 conference in Madrid will be organized jointly with the
third meeting of the Sup'Prize that is a contest sponsored by IBM
Scientific, Technical and Education Industries. The annual Sup'Price
Achievement Awards will be presented at this conference.
The Prizes will be:
- Software Development Tools for Parallel Applications: 10.000 US dolars
- Students Contest......................................................: 5.000 US dolars
In order to facilitate your attendance at the Sup'Eur 95 Conference
we have reserved blocks of rooms in hotels in different price

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Sup'Eur 95 meeting in Madrid welcomes current and future users of
HPC in Academic, research and industrial as well as representatives
of computers centres providing HPC services. The meeting is paticularly
intended to adress problems and needs of HPC of IBM machines, offers
up-to-date information on IBM's products and plans in HPC, and serves
as a forum of discussion and information exchange with leading
supercomputing experts and IBM product developers from Europe and USA.
